14,800 Courses Completed: Her Legacy x iamtheCODE Collaboration Sparks a Digital Revolution in Classrooms

In a bold and inspiring initiative to empower the next generation of digital thinkers, the partnership between Her Legacy Project and iamtheCODE has already generated measurable impact—and it's only the beginning.

As of April 30, 2025, students from Her Legacy pilot schools in the Philippines have completed an astounding 13,660 courses through the iamtheCODE platform. When combined with contributions from participating DepEd schools, the number climbs to 14,805 completed courses, marking a significant milestone in the pursuit of inclusive digital education.

This partnership isn't just about statistics—though 14,805 is no small feat. It's about what happens when vision meets opportunity. From coding modules to hands-on robotics, the iamtheCODE x Her Legacy collaboration has opened doors for 656 students. These students dove into a 6- to 12-week structured program designed to equip them with real-world tech skills and the confidence to lead.

Students like Salma Fae A. Lumaoang have shared the personal impact of the program:

"iamtheCODE is an amazing platform that provides free and credible learning resources. I am grateful to be given an account and excited for this project to reach many more aspiring students. This program serves a great introduction to IT, particularly software development, offering early foundation for future opportunities"

"iamtheCODE really helped me a lot, from writing better code to improving how I communicate and manage projects. I used to struggle with speaking up or organizing my tasks, but now I feel more confident. Thank you so much to Her Legacy, iamtheCODE, and QSR, for letting us experience this, I'll always be grateful for the chance to learn and be part of something this inspiring."

From classrooms in Antipolo and Bulacan to pioneering efforts in Mandaluyong, the dedication is palpable. As Ms. Maricar Silva from Taal High School Stated:

"No learner participant was left behind. Everyone enjoyed the process and learned something valuable - Congratulations to QSR and the team! Thank you for this unforgettable experience."

Her Legacy and iamtheCODE aren’t simply implementing a curriculum—they’re shaping futures. By investing in young Filipinos—many of them girls—this collaboration is proving that access, mentorship, and mission-driven learning can unlock true digital empowerment.

And with over 14,800 courses completed, this partnership is just getting started.
